DO NOT fall prey to self sabotage…

DO NOT fall prey to self sabotage…

💡  Entrepreneurship is one of the most difficult jobs. We work around the clock to always stay one step ahead of the competition. But amidst all the hard work and rollercoaster ride, lies often a deep underlying voice called self-sabotage…

Having been there and experienced it through 4 start-ups, of which 3 failed terribly, self-sabotage is often the biggest reason I see entrepreneurs quit following their dreams and end up living in obscurity.

Many things can stop us on your way to the top, but often most of them are limited to our minds, so removing them is matter of learning how NOT to fall prey to self-sabotage, by keeping in mind the following:

Remember WHY you are in the business. Emotions are underrated when determining our successes, so be clear on this.

Visualize the outcome. Entrepreneurs are visionary, and so exercise your imagination daily with the end in mind.

Focus on what matters. Remember, where focus goes, energy flows. So amidst all the bumps, always keep an eye out for those small wins and positives.

Stop comparing yourself to others. Remember we are on our own journey, and so ignore what the other person has achieved.

Appreciate yourself. Embrace who you truly are and give yourself a pat on the back for getting this far, daily, regardless of the current situation❗️

💎 The mindset supports every action that leads to a desired outcome – train it so it leads to that desired outcome 💎

4 Ways to Silence the Inner Critic

4 Ways to Silence the Inner Critic

💡 Being an entrepreneur can be incredibly stressful and isolating work. This makes it the perfect place for a critical voice (our inner critic) to creep in when we make mistakes, procrastinate on an item on our to-do list, or don’t meet our weekly goals.

That voice is what we call our “inner business critic.” Depending on how loud our inner critic is, some of us may not consciously realize how this manifests in our work.

However, this inner critic of ours can be tamed and nurtured by simply applying the following:

✅ Develop an awareness of our thoughts.

➡️ We get so used to hearing our own narrations that it’s easy to become oblivious to the messages that we’re sending ourselves. Pay attention to what we think about and recognize that just because we think something, doesn’t mean it’s true.

✅ Ask what advice would you give a friend.

➡️ If a friend were to express feelings of self-doubt, its unlikely many of us would say, “You can’t ever do anything right,” or “You’re so stupid. No one likes you.” Yet, we’re often quick to say those things to ourselves i.e. practicing what we preach to others is important in our lives.

💎 In the inner courtroom of our mind, we are the only judgment that counts❗️ 💎
